The next Tuesday Trails Team will be on September 11th.  We will be working at Pic-Wil  from 10am until noon as we near completion of the forest management plan on the site.  We are down to the last push at Pic-Wil and all our efforts to create and maintain a favorable Purple Martin breeding area are paying off.  There were a total of 160 chicks fledged at Pic-Wil this summer.  An additional tower with 12 nesting gourds will be installed this fall.  So we have more trees to clear and de-limb as well as some invasives to remove.   Bring your usual hand clippers and/or loppers.  Volunteers with chain saw experience would be very welcome.  There will be additional tools available. As always don’t forget tick precautions and bring water and sunblock. We will meet at 10 am. at the PIC-Wil parking area on Washington Rd.
