Location:

Osamequin Nature Preserve is located on the northbound side of Rte. 114, approximately one mile north of the intersection of County Road and Massassoit Ave, in Barrington, RI. The preserve is marked with a sign.

If you’re traveling from the north, take Route 114 South to the turnaround exit on the left just south of Primrose Hill Road. This puts you on Route 114 North. Go 0.2 miles and look for the sign on your right. Driving Directions from your location.

Overview:

Osamequin Nature Preserve is a 42-acre conservation area along the western shore of Hundred Acre Cove in Barrington. The property was purchased by the Town of Barrington in the 1960s through the state “Green Acres” program and is now co-managed by the Barrington Land Conservation Trust, the Barrington Garden Club, and the Town. Access Level:

Osamequin Nature Preserve is a public access property, open to the public from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Dogs must be kept on leashes. You may bicycle to the trail, but bikes are not allowed on the hiking trails.

Parking Information:

Roadside parking is available at the trailhead on the northbound side of Rte. 114, just past Walker Farm.
