Join the Barrington Land Conservation Trust for a walk and talk about Soil Solarization at Pic-Wil Nature Preserve. Learn about this technique used in preparation for planting a wildflower meadow and view a pollinator meadow experiment in action. Following the talk, participants will tour the nature preserve, which is normally closed to the public, and discuss native plants. Pic-Wil Preserve is flat with uneven terrain. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Please follow tick preparedness procedures. Dogs are not permitted at this nature preserve.
