Its purpose is to preserve the remaining natural resources of Barrington, Rhode Island and adjacent areas including water resources, streams, ponds, marshlands, woodlands, and scenic and natural sites, as well as the plant and animal life. Land acquisition, educational programs and advocacy on the state and local level achieve our objectives.
