Boost your spirit and experience the benefits of outdoor exercise on our Winter Wellness Walk at Osamequin Nature Preserve. All ages are welcome.
These walks are different than our traditional guided walks. Since it’s cold outside, we’ll keep moving at a moderate pace rather than stopping to explain the history and ecology of the property. These will be informal walks where we can get to know each other and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.
Osamequin Nature Preserve is a 42-acre property located on the Wampanoag Trail, bordering Hundred Acre Cove in Barrington, RI. Visit the Osamequin Nature Preserve page for more information, including map and GPS coordinates.
We’ll meet in the parking area at the entrance to Osamequin Nature Preserve, which is located on the Northbound side of Rte. 114, just after Walker Farm. Round trip, the distance is about 2 miles. Walking at a moderate pace, we’ll be finished in under an hour.
