Climate change is full of paradoxes. The need for action is urgent, and yet, true success is a long game.
Heather Goldstone, Chief Communication Officer of the Woodwell Climate Research Center, kicks off our 2025 Learning Series with a big-picture look at how we talk and think about climate change. This free event will take place on Tuesday, March 4, at 7 pm, in the Salem Family Auditorium at the Barrington Public Library.
The accumulation of greenhouse gases is supercharging both droughts and downpours, fires and floods. It is a global phenomenon with intensely local impacts. This talk will address common questions and misconceptions about climate change and present a realistic, empowering framing of our climate challenge—the scope of the problem and the kinds of solutions we need.
